I do my thing and you do yours. I am not in this world to live up to your expectations, and you are not in this world to live up to mine. You are you and I am I, and if by chance we find each other, then it is beautiful. If not, it can't be helped. I own me, and therefore, I can engineer me. I am me, and I am okay. And remember, no matter where you go, there you are. Humour is the most engaging cowardice. With it myself I have been able to hold some of my enemy in play far out of gunshot. The reason I talk to myself is that I'm the only one whose answers I accept. I restore myself when I'm alone. My life has been one great big joke, a dance that's walked a song that's spoke, I laugh so hard I almost choke when I think about myself. I do not take a single newspaper, nor read one a month, and I feel myself infinitely the happier for it. Do I contradict myself? Very well, then I contradict myself, I am large, I contain multitudes. I have feelings too. I am still human. All I want is to be loved, for myself and for my talent.
